The merchant categories are something that are directly defined by you, the merchant.

Generally your products have some sort of category structure on your website (think your site’s left or top navigation and how products are categorized within it).

This category structure is the data that Bing is looking for in the merchant category field.

so my question therefore is where do I find the merchant categories or do you mean I can put in whatever category name I choose?
