Just an FYI..

I received an e-mail from Become.com alerting merchants that they are raising the minimum funding amount from $25.00 to $100.00. This change is set to go into affect October 24th 2011. Become.com stated that the reason for the change is to ensure uptime of your listings during the holiday season and the increased traffic level the season brings. They have not yet made an announcement on whether or not they will raise the actually cpc rate (which they have historical not done). Below is a copy of the e-mail that I received.

Valued Merchant,

In preparation for 2011 holiday season, Become.com is making a small change to our billing plan beginning October 24, 2011. The minimum credit card charge of $25 will change to $100 for manual, continuous, and monthly budget plans. This change will ensure that you have enough balance to get you through the holiday shopping season.typically we see increased activity during this time of the year. You do not need to do anything as our system will automatically set the minimum credit card charge to $100. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to your account manager or merchanthelp@become.com. Best of luck this holiday season!

Best Regards,

The Become.com Team

All the best,
