Amazon Product Ads beefs up their reporting!

Good Morning comparison shopping engine Gurus! I received some news on Monday that took a back seat to the Bing Cashback news, but I wanted to share it with you today! We all know how important analytics are when trying to effectively manage a comparison shopping engine campaign and the more drilled down the analytics are, the better. So I was very happy when Amazon Product Ads announced that it finally deployed performance reporting on the SKU level!

Dear MERCHANT,

The Product Ads team has some exciting news to share with you. We recently launched Performance by SKU reports and thought you would be very interested in learning more about this launch.  We appreciate your patience while we have worked to make this available.

Performance by SKU reports show you impressions and clicks for each of your products. This detailed performance data will help you to optimize your ads to drive the best results from your Product Ads campaign.

Performance by SKU reports contain the following information: Report Start and End Date, Merchant Token, Merchant Name, SKU, Click count, Impression count, Click Through Rate (CTR), Currency, Total Spend, and Average CPC.  Learn more here.

Please take a few moments to generate a report and send me any questions or comments you have about it.  I will also reach out to you by phone in the next few days to see if you have any further questions about this exciting new feature.

Thanks,

Amazon Product Ads

I hope everyone has a great day!
